So this is really it. Syd Barrett has been long gone 5 years. 5 cold years of a world empty of a mad sad genius clinging onto the threads of insanity, and striving to be something he already was. A LEGEND. Oh Syd :( We can write you tributes all day, but you won't see them. When the trees stop still and the wind dances no more, maybe we'll see you shining down and grabbing our hopes, our high hopes and crazy dreams  to have you return You're not lost.. you're still here :) and so am I. So are we all. If only the strong and undying obsessive love of your fans was enough to save you. Don't be frightened no more. You're where you belong
